VINSARA Institute of Education was established in 2001 with the intention of providing quality education for children in primary and secondary schools. Its founder Athil Goonesekera has many years of quality experience, having been both a tutor and a secondary school teacher since 2001. He strongly believes that a student’s “effort counts more than their ability”, and as such, his primary target is to encourage students to work harder and more effectively to gain maximal results.
We have branches in Gladstone Park, Lynbrook and Mulgrave, which allows us to cater to students from all over the Victoria. VINSARA has a highly qualified and well experienced teaching staff in all branches.
Our institution draws students from many suburbs of Melbourne as well as country towns like Echuca, Shepparton, Ballarat, Geelong, Bendigo and Bright. This diverse student background provides a productive and competitive classroom experience for all students. Our aim is to provide a holistic and engaging environment for students to be able to achieve their best.
Our online classes support students across Australia, with learners joining from Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Darwin, Tasmania and many other communities nationwide.
Our aim is to increase our students’ knowledge significantly above the level they learn in their school curriculum, which ensures that they are always highly equipped to achieve success in all academic assessments that come their way.
We always aim to be ten months ahead of school curriculum, which is especially advantageous in VCE as we can spend more time to rigorously prepare students through completing, correcting and clarifying questions from hundreds of trial exams, sharpening their skills and familiarising them with the questions they will face in their exams.
For each year level we have three exams per year, the results of which are marked against their large cohort of diverse students.
Our aim is to develop each student’s abilities to understand basic concepts, and then learn how to apply these to any future problems that they may encounter. We strongly advocate for theory based teaching and ensure that our students are exposed to more than just rote and worksheet-based learning, allowing our students to learn, practise and apply their skills efficiently. .
We provide small group classes, however we also strongly focus one-on-one teacher-student interactions. We always strive to maintain a positive competitive environment in these group classes, whilst also providing a safe and accessible environment for individual students to receive the help and care they require.
VINSARA has a highly qualified, professional and thoroughly experienced teaching staff. Combined, they have well over half a decade of teaching experience, which enables VINSARA to hold a very high standard of teaching.
